Magnetic Field Series

All the universe pulsates with energy, unseen by the naked eye.  The earth and celestial objects have  a magnetic field of energy composed of electrical charges. This series is a depiction of the magnetic fields existing around these celestial objects such as planets, stars and galaxies.

Color shape and line come together in exciting ways when I am inspired both visually and musically and by the energy that flows in the universe and connects us all.  When the thinking mind becomes still, spaciousness appears and the energy of these elements takes on a life of its own.  When we embrace our own creativity, it's a  process and a gift of pure joy.

 Embrace Impermanence. Walking on the beach is a meditation on Impermanence. Ephemeral….momentary…evanescence…fleeting …the impermanence of all beings and all things. Impermanence is a principle of the universe. When we don’t struggle against it, we are in harmony with reality, in harmony with all things. 

The universe and its myriad of galaxies have always inspired me to think beyond the everyday known reality to the infinitude of stars and galaxies. "The universe is a single multiform event. Our kin includes the living companions on earth, all the planets and stars. We are here through the creativity of the stars."  

Poppies appear in the bright spring days of California. They carry the majesty of the summer sunlight and the energy of the flower fairies, luminous beings of light, color and energy.  The warm, nurturing sunlight is enfolded in the brilliant orange of the poppy petals and their lacy leaves.  Painting poppies is like painting pure joy,
